The Future Horizons Programme will assist you in finding suitable employment once you leave the army.  Through our network of partners we will link you into the most appropriate level of support you need to help with the transition back into civilian life.

Be the Boss

A government funded scheme delivered by the Royal British Legion to provide ex-Service personnel with assistance including loans and grants to assist with the costs of starting and growing a business.

An employment support scheme funded by The Royal British Legion as part of a range of learning and work support schemes to help unemployed and low skilled people of working age develop their skills and find sustainable employment.

The Future Horizons Programme will help you identify the necessary skills you will find useful when looking for a new career.  Our partners will assist you to access relevant  educational and developmental courses to improve your opportunities of finding a job once you have left the armed forces.

RFEA

Once signed onto the programme The Regular Forces Employment Association will provide you with Job finding advice and support for the rest of your life.

Finding a job is an important part of your move into Civvy Street, but first you need to be sure of your career direction. This may be following the work that you did in the Services or could be an entirely different direction.

Search online for the latest jobs and volunteering opportunities - volunteering can help you develop and learn new skills while you're looking for a job.

Once signed onto the programme our team will contact you on regular occasions to see how you are doing and check out if you require further support from one of our partners. You can also call at any time on 0121 2360058 to speak to one of our advisors if you feel you require further support with any aspect of settling back into civilian life

In many instances when you are looking for more information you will be directed to Civvy Street for more assistance. Civvy Street is a website for serving and former members of the UK Armed Forces and their dependent family members.

The Future Horizons Programme has joined together with Serco through their preferred suppliers, Cue Personnel & Premier Recruitment Solutions, to offer service leavers employment opportunities in different areas of the country.

Cue Personnel & Premier Recruitment are looking for motivated individuals to work in the environmental services sector, they offer competitive rates of pay and the chance to gain permanent employment with Serco when vacancies arise

Cue Personnel supply predominantly industrial labour within the London area. We work with local authorities and companies, within their Recycling and Waste Operations areas.
